Christy Ward speaks at Costa Mesa Grand Opening

Share Ourselves Opens State-of-the-Art Costa Mesa Clinic

On a sunny Saturday morning in May, Share Ourselves celebrated more than a grand opening—we took a bold step forward in our mission to provide compassionate, whole-person care to our neighbors in need. Community members, local dignitaries, and health advocates joined us as we unveiled our brand-new healthcare clinic at 1650 Adams Avenue in Costa Mesa with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community health fair.

This new 11,500-square-foot facility is more than just a building. It’s a reflection of our commitment to meeting Orange County’s rising healthcare demands, especially for those who are uninsured, underinsured, or navigating difficult life circumstances. With 12 medical exam rooms, six dental chairs, two optometry stations, a behavioral health office, and an on-site pharmacy, this clinic is designed to provide whole-person care.

Since 1970, Share Ourselves has bridged healthcare and human services to serve as a safety net for thousands of individuals and families. Today, the need for accessible, affordable care in Orange County continues to grow. The region’s high cost of living and widespread social risk factors prevent many from receiving consistent, essential care. We expanded in Costa Mesa to directly respond to that urgent need.

“I’m overjoyed with how all of this came together,” said Christy Ward, CEO of Share Ourselves. “It’s been years in the making, and to be able to open the doors and share this space with not only the community but all of the people who’ve been walking with us along this journey—it’s just a really special moment.”

With support from partners like Turner Impact Capital and Hoag, who helped bring this vision to life, we’re creating welcoming, purpose-driven spaces that go beyond treating illness to promote lasting well-being.

During the grand opening event, attendees toured the clinic, accessed wellness resources, and engaged with community leaders dedicated to improving health outcomes. The event offered a vibrant celebration and a powerful reminder of the work that still lies ahead.

As we settle into this new space, our goal is clear: to expand access, reduce barriers, and ensure that every person who walks through our doors feels seen, supported, and cared for. We will continue advancing that vision in Costa Mesa and beyond.

This is only the beginning. Together with our community, our team, and our partners, we’ll continue building a healthier Orange County.
