In 2015, the Luna family began supporting Share Ourselves through the Adopt A Family program, bringing holiday joy to others. Years later, their son Dominic found himself on the receiving end of that same care during a difficult chapter of homelessness and addiction. Though his journey ended tragically, the family’s experience is a powerful reminder of the dignity, compassion, and hope that community support can provide….
As a parent, Jennifer began looking for meaningful opportunities to introduce her children to the value of giving back. She wanted them to experience what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves—to see compassion and service in action. Remembering how rewarding her own volunteer experiences had been, she started searching for family-friendly ways to serve the community and soon found her way back to Share Ourselves….
