Family Service Night & Thanksgiving Food Distribution
In the beginning of the holiday season of giving, Share Ourselves supported local families by providing food during a time when the need is often greatest. Our Thanksgiving Food Distribution helped families come together around the table with the essentials needed for a meaningful holiday meal.
With support from donors, volunteers, and community partners, hundreds of families received bags of meal supplies filled with fresh produce, pantry staples, and holiday items to ensure they were able to partake in a joyful Thanksgiving celebration. The focus was to meet immediate needs while treating every family with care and respect.
Volunteers made the day possible during our annual Fall Family Service Night. Many returned after supporting other Share Ourselves programs, while others volunteered for the first time and quickly became part of the community. They organized and packed food, guided families through the distribution, loaded vehicles, and helped create a welcoming environment from start to finish.
Community partners supported the effort behind the scenes, hosting food drives, logistics, and coordination. Their involvement ensured the distribution ran smoothly and families could receive support efficiently.
For families facing food insecurity, this distribution offered more than groceries. It offered relief during a busy and stressful season and reassurance that their community cares.
At Share Ourselves, the holiday season is about showing up for one another. This Thanksgiving Food Distribution reflects the generosity and compassion that carried families through the holidays and into the new year.
Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, or supported this effort. Your support made a meaningful difference for families across our community.
