Summer Family Service Night

Join Us for a Evening of Giving Back!
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and make a big impact! On Wednesday, July 30th, families are invited to join us for a hands-on volunteer opportunity supporting our annual Back to School Program. You will have the opportunity to help us prepare thousands of backpacks filled with school supplies to local children gearing up for the new school year.
What to expect:
- Assembling backpacks filled with essential school supplies
- Creating hygiene kits for our unhoused neighbors
- Touring Share Ourselves in Costa Mesa to learn more about our impact
Schedule:
- 5:00 PM – Check-in
- 5:15 PM – Opening remarks
- 5:30 PM – Volunteer stations start
This is a fun and educational opportunity for families to serve side by side while gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by our neighbors—and how we can help.
Who can join?
All adults and children ages 3 and up (accompanied by a parent or guardian) are welcome to participate. Spots are limited, so don’t forget to register.

Supply Drive: Help us fill those backpacks!
We’re also accepting donations of new school supplies. The items we are most in need of include backpacks (solid, dark, neutral colors), notebooks, binders, loose-leaf paper, and ballpoint pens. Download the flyer below for more details.
Parking Information
Parking is available onsite at 1550 Superior Ave. However, due to limited space, additional parking is available at the HOAG parking structure at 500 Superior Ave, Newport Beach. Please park on level 3 of the HOAG parking structure, then walk downstairs and up one block north to Share Ourselves at 1550 Superior Ave, Costa Mesa.
