Join us at our Summer Family Service Night!

On Wednesday, July 31st, families will help us sort and prepare backpacks for our annual Back to School Program. This year we anticipate distributing over 2,000 backpacks to children preparing for the new school year. We will also assemble hygiene kits and snack packs for our unhoused and low-income neighbors. While participating in the various activities, families will learn more about the services Share Ourselves provides and how they can make a difference.

Adults and children three years and older accompanied by a guardian are welcome to participate. Refreshments will be provided. Please register for the event by clicking the link below.

Donations of school supplies requested

Help us fill backpacks with quality school supplies for the upcoming school year. Items needed include:

• Hardcover notebooks
• Spiral notebooks
• Packs of notebook paper
• 12 pack of #2 pencils & sharpeners
• 12 pack of pens
• 12 pack of markers
• 12 pack of colored pencils
• Pack of crayons (any size)
• Jumbo erasers or pack of erasers
• Glue sticks or liquid glue
• Rulers

Parking information

Due to limited on-site parking, we request that Family Service Night attendees park at the HOAG parking structure at 500 Superior Ave, Newport Beach. Please park on level 3 of the HOAG parking structure, then walk downstairs and up one block north to Share Ourselves at 1550 Superior Ave, Costa Mesa.
