Join us at our Fall Family Service Night!

Save the date: 11/22/2024

On Friday, November 22nd, families will help us sort and prepare food bags for our Thanksgiving Food Distribution Program. This year we anticipate distributing over 700 Thanksgiving meal bags to families in need. Family Service Night provides an opportunity for you to give back to the community while learning more about the services Share Ourselves provides.

Adults and children 3+ years (accompanied by a guardian) are invited to participate. Refreshments will be provided. Event registration will open in early November—please check back soon!

Hands-on projects and learning opportunities:

• Assembling Thanksgiving meal bags
• Tour of Share Ourselves at Costa Mesa

Donations of canned/boxed food requested

Help our neighbors facing food insecurity this holiday season by donating canned or boxed food items! Items needed include:

• Boxed stuffing
• Boxed mash potatoes
• Canned green beans
• Nonperishable gravy
• Canned cranberry sauce
• Canned pumpkin
• Canned yams or sweet potatoes
• Canned vegetables
• Canned fruit
• Cornbread mix
• Brownie mix

Parking information

Because on-site parking is limited, we kindly request that Family Service Night attendees park at the HOAG parking structure at 500 Superior Ave, Newport Beach. Please park on the third level of the parking structure, then take the stairs and walk one block north to Share Ourselves at 1550 Superior Ave, Costa Mesa.
